25th February 2013 – Kathak Workshop: Rita Dance Academy organized a Kathak Workshop for the benefit of its students in their studio at North Brunswick. Senior Kathak Artist from India Shri Jayant Kasture taught the students some of the sophisticated aspects of Kathak and gave a demonstration.

27th April 2013 – 8th Naach Revolution: Our team performed KATHAK TARANA as the opening item of the Competition. Rita Dance Academy WON the BEST CHOREOGRAPHY AWARD in the Senior Category. The event was held at Union County Performing Arts Center, Rahway, NJ.
