A. There is no such rule when one should start learning Kathak. However, we prefer a minimum of four and a half years of age to start learning Kathak.
A. Before we put your daughter in a specific class, we first evaluate which class is suitable for her on the basis of her age and prior dance experience. We will then recommend which class may be most suitable. Provided there is space available in the class, you may be asked to take a few additional classes in the beginning to catch up with rest of the class. Our approach is to accommodate a new student in the existing class only after ensuring that the new student is ready.
A. No there is no fast track available as such. Your child must meet ALL the requirements (HL) for writing the examination and there is no way to go around it. There are requirements for minimum age and minimum qualifications for an exam. However, in some specific scenarios, there is a possibility to meet the requirement of “minimum hours of learning” faster than the normal duration will take. For example, For writing the Bhushan II exam, as long as you are xx years of age and have passed Bhushan I exam, you can possibly write Bhushan II exams sooner by completing the required xx hours of learning on a faster pace. So if your child has a special situation, please feel free to send us the Inquiry or discuss with us.
